Introducing Korean

The course Introduction to Korean language introduces students to the basic language learning skills, alphabet, short dialogue, narrative texts, conversation, grammatical patterns, and short essay writing. Students partake in online activities that help track their learning growth in reading, conversation, and narrative text. Korean cultures are highlighted in this course. Students learn about the social and work life in Korea.

Korean Language Table

The Department of Foreign Languages and Cultures professors host language tables, which meet once a week. Instructor Hyun Gyung Lee is one of the hosts for the Korean Table. This is a great opportunity for students to expand their language-learning skills outside of the classroom.
