The Department of Foreign Languages and Cultures offers two sections of Italian, one each semester. In the Fall we offered Italian 101, which goes over the fundamentals of speaking, listening, reading, and writing. For Spring semester, students continue their development of the basic Italian skills.
Some of The Department of Foreign Languages and Cultures professors host language tables. This fall, Clinical Associate Professor Maria Previto hosted the Italian language table. Students who participated had the opportunity to practice the basic Italian language skills. This is a great opportunity, especially for those considering studying abroad in Italy.
